Scobol Solo is New Trier's very own Scholastic Bowl Tournament. It is held annually, and it attracts the best players from the state, and even some from outside the state lines. However, it is not a traditional 5-on-5 team tournament. It is very unique in the fact that is completely individual. A player competes against another player for a set of 20 tossups, no bonuses. After 7 morning rounds of this head to head battle, the 9 finalists compete in a final of 60 questions, with the winner being crowned the Scobol Solo champion. It has been described as the "highlight of the year", and it truly is. Don't miss the chance to be in next year's edition. Contact Coach Reinstein today!
